Welcome! I’m Catherine Wade — artist, maker, and founder of Punch of Color.

I hold a BA in Studio Art from Indiana University (Class of 2005), and over the years, I’ve built a diverse creative career — working as a graphic designer, scenic painter, wedding invitation designer, art teacher, and Associate Artistic Director of a youth theatre.

The idea for Punch of Color was sparked in 2019 while planning a "penguin-themed" birthday party for my 6-year-old. As I searched online for a creative, craft-based party favor, I realized there was a gap in the market — and an opportunity to bring something unique and creatively enriching to kids and families like mine.

Today, Punch of Color specializes in mess-free craft kits, gifts and party favors. Every item is thoughtfully designed by hand before being developed into its final form. Thanks for being here — I hope you find something that inspires a little color and creativity in your world!
